Is Carrying a Tape Recorder the Only Way to Keep a Job?

I remember when I first started a job back in 2008; many people told me to carry a hidden tape recorder. I blew this advice off because I have never been told such a thing. I later found out when I was a target, my coworkers tape recorded everything I said. There was a job I had in 2013 in which I wish I had a tape recorder because everything was turned around to make me look like the bad person. I thought to myself, “If only I had a tape recorder, I could prove this person wrong.” It is sad that in today’s world employees are either tape recording you and you don’t know it, or you wish you would have had a tape recorder when a coworker told a lie on you. Carrying a hidden tape recorder is not legal in some states, but find out your state laws to protect yourself. A tape recorder might be the only way to save your job, sad but true!!!!!
