Being bullied can be a traumatizing experience; however many states will not allow someone to collect Workman’s Compensation for mental distress. Being bullied can lead to mental and physical distress. Some physical symptoms include: headaches, stomach aches, decrease or increase of appetite, and other symptoms. Mental symptoms include: anxiety, insomnia, depression, and other symptoms. Some victims are known to commit suicide due to workplace bullying. It is time to stand up to these bullies and the employers that allow bullying.
