I had someone from Scotland email me about his experience of being bullied. After reading his story and a few email conversations, awareness needs to be made around the world, not only in the United States!!! I am going to share his story below, everything is copied and pasted so his story is in his own words. He also said he will be glad to answer any questions, so if you have any questions email them to me at inhumane_resources@aol.com, don't forget to share this blog and my Facebook page Inhumane Resources with others. Thank you D.S. from Scotland with your story!!!

> 1/ They accussed me of having a "clenched jaw" during an investigation > 2/ They accussed me of having "clenched fists" during an investigation > 3/ They made up a false Health & wellbeing report on me when a Counsellor was concerned for my health > 4/ They removed me from my work place for 12 months for an "investigation" - and gave me menial work to do. > 5/ I had my keys taken off me - and email domain changed during the "investigation > 6/ 6 false witness reports were made up on me - to make me look a bad employee > 7/ I was denied a work transfer due to bad health > 8/ HR took 3 months to get back to me on all communications > 9/ HR took the side of the bullying boss - making light of all his actions > 10/ HR made up lies on me - and had me dismissed from my job - all because I complained on being bullied.

For 11 yrs I worked as a Museum Assistant with a local Government authority... I loved my job and was good at it... Unfortunately I had a bullying line manager.

I made several verbal complaints on the manager - which were ingnored ... And then I became ill due to stress. On becoming ill I made a "Grievance" on my line manager - the bullying had gone to far when it damaged my health. When making the "Grievance" I fully expected help - in reality I recieved the opposite - The organisation then waged a vindictive hate campaign to be rid of me.

Bullying in the work place is a hidden epidemic – it destroys lives – it destroys careers... Employees become ill, leave their jobs, moral in the work place drops, productivity drops... It makes complete moral and economic sense to remove bullying from the work place – but sadly the truth at my place of employment was the opposite – work bullying is a part of the culture and is institutionalized.

Work bullying is something that should never be tolerated – and should actually be illegal... but in reality work bullying is madly legal – and not only tolerated, but an active policy of removing “trouble making” staff.

Work bullying by its very nature is difficult to report, as the targets of it are left traumatized and unable to talk about their experiences. An employee who brings up an issue of work bullying should be congratulated and given full support... But at my place of employment this is grotesquely lacking – with the employee receiving no support.

The reality on work bullying is – that there is NO help for those bullied.

This is worth repeating... There is NO help for those who are bullied in the work place.

Employers want a closed shop to deal with their staff – and behind that closed door – employees will have no Human Rights – and will be denied basic respect and dignity. My managers are allowed to make up any trash on their staff – and it goes by unquestioned. Managers are unaccountable for their actions. Out in the real world – these managers would be seen as criminals and be dealt with fines and ASBOS – but work law is pretend law – a Stalinistic farce where the managers make up the rules – the same people are the witnesses, jury and executioner. Any statement the manager makes is taken as true - no matter how outlandish it is - simply because they are the manager... and conversely - the statement of the employee is often taken as lies. There is no equality in the workplace. It is an ugly, malicious, antiquated system that should have been reformed and got rid of decades ago – but mysteriously remains – and damages people’s lives across the country.

I worked for 11yrs and I loved my job. But somehow managers viewed me as unmanageable, aggressive and threatening. The reason for this all came over night when I finally summoned the courage to report my manager for a decade of bullying. The bullying for example consisted of...

1/ A threat to kill me 2/ Phones slammed down

3/ Called “useless” 4/ Daily having my work ridiculed

5/ Micro managed 6/ Working in a blame culture

7/ Sexually harassed 8/ Lies to make me look bad

9/ Being shouted at 10/ Given insufficient time/tools to do a job ... etc

And when I made my compliant – 10 other managers made counter claims on me...

1/ I made managers sick 2/ I bullied managers

3/ I gave a manager psoriasis 4/ I never do what I am told

5/ I visit prostitutes 6/ I take photos of dancing girls ... etc

Four managers - including the bully - made complaints on me for damaging their health .... And Human Resources made up a faked health report on me.

This is grotesque stuff of the highest order – but it is allowed to happen. Nobody is allowed to help. In normal life a person can call in the Ombudsman, Counsellors, MPs, Police, Social Workers, local authority – to sort out the harassment ... But in the work place, real law does not operate. A parallel universe occurs – where a pretend law takes over and removes the standard civil and human rights of the employee.

I was actually covered by the “Disabilities at Work Act” when I worked – as I have a recognized psychiatric injury (which was caused by my manager). This protective status however was maliciously ignored and was ran rough shod over – when my managers accused me of being a nasty unmanageable threat to the health of managers – and my rights of dignity and respect went out of the window.

Workplace bullying is a global problem, please share his story and lets team together to stop workplace bullying!!
